TUBEdek® Tube Settlers (Lamella Clarifiers) for sewage water treatment

Tube settlers, also called lamella clarifiers, are used to remove solids in the waste water treatment. TUBEdek® tube settlers are single plastic profiles combined to tubes. This design multiplies the sedimentation area up to 15 times per square meter surface area and helps to improve sedimentation in water and waste water treatment plants. Different executions support a better process and cost reduction of the plant.

Solids Removal

Sludge, sand and siltes in surface water, chemical precipitation and flocculation form solids which have to be removed. The most economic process to remove this pollution is parellel plate sedimentation. Multiple sedimentation planes within one tank reduce the size and cost of the tanks.

Flexibility for all process requirements

The GEA 2H TUBEdek® lamella clarifier is the ideal product for this application. It can be adapted to process design requirements by variation of inclination, length of tubes and module sizes. The lamella sedimentation process can be most efficiently applied based on the unique features of GEA 2H TUBEdek®.

Support structure

The low weight tube settlers TUBEdek® are supported by structures made of steel or by GRP. Our specially designed GRP support beams combine in best way the need to give structural support with the need to minimize impact to flow and sludge discharge.
