Waste air cleaning
Dust and ammonia are the substances to be cleaned from the waste air. Prescribed are cleaning efficiencies from 70-90% depending on where the sheds/stables are located. To efficiently and economically comply with this task, filling materials are needed which can be used in both counter and cross-flow applications (e.g. tunnel ventilation) in local waste air cleaning systems.
The filling materials we have developed comply with all the requirements and have proved their operating efficiency in hundreds of installations.

Air humidifying and cooling
For high productivity in livestock breeding it is becoming more and more important to respond to the specific requirements of the species involved.
This includes controlling air temperature in the stables. The air in stables needs cooling particularly in regions where high temperatures prevail. To this end, an evaporative condenser is used to humidify and cool the artificially generated air flow.

GEA 2H Water Technologies GmbH has developed a new type of plastic evaporative condenser: HUMIPACKING®.
HUMIPACKING® is of plastic and thus easy to clean. It also resists most chemicals, low pressure loss and is impervious to light. Its long service life sets it apart from the other coolers on the market, thus creating a benefit of commercial significance.

Light traps
In livestock breeding it is often necessary not to let any light from outside get into the stables. This allows special night and day rhythms and artificial lighting to be effectively used.

The answer here is for light traps to be inserted in front of the air admission dampers or fans. GEA 2H Water Technologies has devised the special TAP 160 profile and associated holder for this particular application.
